IN EVERYTHING, HAVE FAITH IN GOD!
Believing in God is a long process that occurs in every human life and the basic concept of having faith in God is “believing in God” which means that we as human beings believe that God exists. As stated in Pancasila, the first precept which reads “Belief in the One and Only God” has the meaning that the Indonesian is a nation that has belief in the concept of divinity or supernatural qualities.
At Stella Maris School, nurturing the values of faith in God among primary students holds a central place in our educational philosophy. We believe that faith is a guiding light that helps students with courage, compassion, and resilience. Through daily prayers, moral lessons, and spiritual guidance, we foster an environment where our students can develop a deep and meaningful relationship with God. The values of faith encourage kindness and empathy. Our goal is not only to provide a strong academic foundation but also to nurture the spiritual growth of students so that they can apply the values. Faith in God at Stella Maris School is a source of strength and guidance that empowers our primary students to face the daily basis with integrity.
Every religion teaches its followers to always have faith and piety in God Almighty, which means putting their trust in God. A person can be said to have faith if he believes in God with full confidence and without doubt. Everyone who believes in God means carrying out and staying away from all His prohibitions. God has created man in His image and likeness. Apart from that, God also created man with reason and mind and the purpose of God creating man was to populate the earth and take care of it. This means that God wants us as humans to develop life and protect all living things, as well as the beautiful nature that He bestowed upon us for a better life in the future. Human life is a mystery sometimes life is like a puzzle piece. We have to find the missing piece to make a complete puzzle. No one knows human life except God himself. What is happening in our life right now, He allows it to happen so that His power becomes real in our life. However, humans often become afraid and tremble when faced with a problem. Not a few of us think that life’s problems never stop. When one problem is solved, a new problem reappears.
Supposedly, when the storms of life come to attack us, we don’t need to be afraid and believe that God is always with us whenever and wherever we are because we have faith and hope in God. Having faith in God doesn’t need any reason, because faith can appear when we can feel God’s love in our lives. Therefore, God wants us to have firm faith in Him so that we can remain strong in facing the storms of life.
Today is the day to keep on having faith in God. In everything, have faith in God’s love and wisdom at work in your life. In everything that has already occurred, choose to have faith and know that God’s presence and power are active. In everything happening at this moment, have faith that God is present and in control of all details. In thoughts of the future, again take hold of the idea: In everything, I have faith in God!
